New Year baby gets quilt

Every year on National Quilting Day, the Clinton Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild awards a baby quilt to the first baby born in the new year at Lock Haven Hospital. This year the holiday was March 18, and the quilt went to Emery Robert Billings, the first child of Aaron and Courtney Billings of Great Falls, Mont. Emery weighted 9 pounds, 3 ounces at 21.5 inches. Aaron is from Tunkhannock, and Courtney is from North Bend. Grandparents are Robert and Cheryl Gardner and Frank and Diane Billings. Aunts are Amber Stewart and Bridget Gardner and uncles are Adam and Avery Billings. After some time spent with family, they will return to Great Falls where they are stationed in the U.S. Air Force.
