BEA to hold Homecoming Parade

WINGATE — Bald Eagle Area will hold Homecoming events this week, beginning with BEA’s first ever Homecoming Parade, featuring high sport teams and organizations, and elementary school floats.

The Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Milesburg, and will be broadcast live on the Eagle Ambassador’s YouTube site.

Lineup begins at 4:30 p.m. The parade route will begin near Frito Lay in Milesburg, go past Valley Ace Hardware, then left on Catherine Street, then a right onto Market Street. At the end of Market Street, the parade will go right on Route 144 past the Milesburg Post Office, over the Iron Bridge, concluding at the Milesburg Little League complex.

There will be a bonfire at the Little League complex at the conclusion of the parade.

A Homecoming queen will be crowned on Friday prior to the Huntingdon at BEA football game at Alumni Field in Wingate. The football game will begin at 7 p.m.
