Join us for a cup of coffee!

In honor of our readers and in observance of National Newspaper Week, The Express community newspaper will hold a coffee klatsch from 7:30 to 10 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Avenue 209 Coffee House, located at 209 Bellefonte Ave. in Lock Haven, next to Wendy’s.

We’ll buy you a regular or decaffeinated coffee if you sign up for a drawing for one of three prizes: Gift certificates to either Avenue 209, Stella A’s or CO2-The Unique Boutique.

And thanks to CO2-The Unique Boutique in downtown Lock Haven for sponsoring free newspapers at the event that morning!

Please, take a moment to tell us what you think … what’s important to you and what your community newspaper should focus on or investigate. We welcome customers to sit down with our staff, including Managing Editor Lana Muthler, Community Editor Wendy Stiver, Newspaper Sales Manager Wally Corter, District Sales Manager Matt McMann, Publisher Bob Rolley, Advertising Sales Manager Jordan McCloskey and others. Please give us feedback. Please offer your ideas on news coverage … essentially how your community newspaper can serve you better. Afterall, your issues are our issues.

Hope to see you there!
