‘Truckers 4 Hope’ to host jamboree

MILL HALL — An event called “Truckers 4 Hope Jamboree” will take place this weekend to benefit cystic fibrosis and #hope4hayze.

The event will happen at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, 98 Race Track Road, Mill Hall.

On Saturday, the all day semi-truck show will start at 10 a.m.. A kids pedal pull will happen at 12 noon at the same time as registration for the semi-truck pulls. The truck pulls will begin at 2 p.m. and the two bands that are performing will start at 6 p.m. with “Speed Bump Willy” playing first. They’ll finish at 9 p.m. and the band “QuarterStick” will play from 9 p.m. until the event ends.

A beer tent will be open from 6 p.m. until the end of the bands. The night will be finished off with a truck light show at 9 p.m. Raffles will be played throughout the day.

On Sunday, the semi-truck show will begin again at 10 a.m. along with the registration/weigh in for the 4×4 truck and tractor pulls. The pulls themselves will begin at 12 noon along with the first band of the day called “Food Stamp Hookers”. They’ll be followed by “Dirty Mojo” at 1:30 p.m.

The price to get in will be $7 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. Pre-registration for the truck events will be $25 same as the cost for vendors, and camping.

Awards will be given in the pulls and people’s choice truck.
