Flemington’s Holiday Lighting Contest winners

FLEMINGTON — Winners of the Holiday Lighting Contest in December sponsored by the borough of Flemington and judged by Hi-Neighbor Committee are as follows:

MILL HALL — Do you have a talent you’d like to showcase?

The Central Mountain Wildcat Baseball team will present Clinton County’s Got Talent sponsored by Schlesinger Communications, Inc. next month.

The variety show will be held Feb. 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. both nights at the Central Mountain High School Auditorium.

Those who wish to participate in the show must fill out a registration form by Feb. 10.

Forms can be found on facebook.com/ClintonCountysGotTalent. They can be emailed to alison-kramer@comcast.net, printed out and mailed to CMHS/CCGT, 64 Keystone Central Dr., Mill Hall, Pa. 17751 c/o Michael Kramer. If you don’t receive a call within four days of your mailing contact Alison at 570-367-3053.

Participants must provide their own props and costumes and have an act that is suitable for young audiences. The stage crew will be available to set up acts if needed and all who wish to attend must attend a practice session and dress rehearsal.

Practice session sign ups can be arranged by contacting Alison Kramer through her email, alison-kramer@comcast.net or by phone at 570-367-3053. Slots will be available on Monday Feb. 12 and Tuesday Feb. 13 from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Central Mountain High School stage.

Dress rehearsal will be held Wednesday Feb. 14 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. but participants are asked to arrive at 6 p.m. for an informational meeting.

On show day the cast will be holding a meeting promptly at 6:50 p.m. on both nights.

Sip & Dip

is Feb. 5

MILL HALL — Ten tickets remain for a Sip & Dip painting session on Feb. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Haywoods on the Green. The event is sponsored by the Infant Development Office.

Cost of the tickets is $35 and they can be purchased by contacting the Infant Development Office at 570-748-3928.

There will be snacks, a cash bar and 50/50 raffle tickets.

Screening of ‘Riding My Way Back’

LOCK HAVEN — The Roxy Movie Theatre will host a screening of the award winning film “Riding My Way Back,” a story about a veteran, a horse and hope.

The screening will take place on Feb. 18 at 4:40 p.m. Cost is $5.

This event is sponsored by Horses of Hope Inc. and The Roxy.

All admission proceeds benefit Horses of Hope and Heroes and Horses.
