No parking today for downtown snow removal
LOCK HAVEN — The city will deal with snow along downtown Main Street today and tomorrow.
Starting at 7 a.m. today, snow will be removed along the north side of Main Street (the side closest to the river) from Henderson Street all the way to First Street, and also along the block where Main Street turns into Bellefonte Avenue, which is from Triangle Park to the five-way traffic light at West Church Street.
On Friday, also starting at 7 a.m., snow will be removed from the south side of these same blocks.
Parking meters on the north side of the street are already bagged for today’s snow removal, and if any vehicles remain in those spaces at 7 a.m., they will be ticketed and may be towed at the owners’ expense.
Tonight, meters will be bagged on the south side of the street. Any vehicles remaining in those spaces by 7 a.m. Friday will be ticketed and may be towed, also at the owners’ expense.
In any non-metered areas, temporary “no parking” restrictions will be in effect.
