Express asks patience as weather will delay delivery

The Express community newspaper may be a little late to your doorstep or your local store or vending machine today as the winter storm makes transportation hazardous.

The newspaper always advises its delivery team to use caution when bad weather hampers delivery of the daily newspaper.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises people to stay off the roads if they can until the storm is over and/or until crews get streets and highways cleared.

Mother Nature brought ice to the region after snow yesterday, so roads will stay slippery through today.

We appreciate our customers’ patience.

As always, our staff is available by phone at 570-748-6791, or toll free at 1-800-941-3231, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays.
