Hanna to host Town Hall meeting in Milesburg

MILESBURG — State Rep. Mike Hanna will be hosting a live Town Hall meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at the Milesburg Community Center, 101 Mill St.

As with past town hall events, this one will focus on what constituents would like to see in the upcoming budget.

“We are currently going through negotiations, budget hearings, etc. so it’s important to hear what they feel should be the focus,” Hanna said.

Hanna will provide a breakdown of the Governor’s proposal and talk about what he thinks will receive attention and what he hopes will receive attention.

His focus will be on job creation and education; he’s always been a proponent of large corporations paying their fair share with regards to natural gas production in the state.

Given the fact that Rep. Hanna is retiring, the town hall also provides him an opportunity to personally thank his constituents for all of their support over the years.

Constituents are encouraged to ask questions in advance via Facebook or email.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to submit questions upon arrival.
