Truck, tractor show

The Central Mountain High School Future Farmers of America will host a Truck and Tractor Show on May 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the tennis court entrance near the high school’s Career and Technical Center. Everyone is welcome and there is no fee. There will be a petting zoo, flower sale, crafts, self-guided walking path tour and much more. Master Gardeners’ plant sale

Expert advice and a variety of unique plants will be two of the features at the Saturday, May 19 plant sale put on by Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Centre County. The annual event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Penn State Ag Progress Days venue on state Route 45, entrance K. Gardening activities for children will be featured for the first time. Janice Long Special Prom

It’s a luau party! The annual Janice Long Special Prom will be held at Central Mountain Middle School, Sunday, May 20 with refreshments from 1 to 2 p.m., dancing from 2 to 4 p.m., and more. The event is held for students in middle and high school, as well as adults in the community.
