BUNNY LOVE
Kurk takes first place in rabbit show
Megan Geyer, 9, of Mill Hall, is pictured with one of her rabbits, Kurk. Kurk took first place in the Chocolate Senior Buck Class at the Open Show at the Clinton County Fair. Megan has been showing bunnies at the fair for two years, but has loved bunnies all her life. Her two older sisters raised bunnies, which is part of what caused her appreciation for the fluffy little creatures with big ears. “I love to hold and cuddle them,” she said. Megan has eight adult rabbits and seven babies. She plans to train some of them in competitive jumping, a sport that’s becoming more and more popular.
