Good Intent Cider places at Farm Show

BELLEFONTE — On Saturday, Jan. 5, Good Intent Cider placed in two categories at the second annual PA Cider Competition during the 2019 Farm Show in Harrisburg.

The business took second place in Hopped Class for Hop Tide and third place in the Heritage Cider class for Wickson. This is Good Intent’s first year entering the state-wide competition and they were the only cidery from Centre County to place.

“We are honored to have had two of our ciders recognized at the PA State Farm Show and are proud to be part of all of the excellent craft beverages that Centre County has to offer,” said Adam Redding, owner of Good Intent Cider.

Good Intent Cider was founded in 2013 and opened the Bellefonte tasting room in 2014. Expansion efforts were completed in late 2017 and included a new production line next door. Good Intent has over 15 ciders on tap and is distributed to several regional locations.
