Borowicz to host firearms seminar

LOCK HAVEN — State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, R-Centre/Clinton, will host a Forearms Safety and Rights Seminar at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aplril 25, at the Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Co. in North Bend.

“Article I, SEction 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution clearly states that “the right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the state shall not be questioned,” said Borowicz.

“This no-cost seminar offers the dual opportunity for local firearm owners to expand their knowledge of existing gun laws and to get their most important questions answered about freely, safely and responsibly exercising your God-given right to keep and bear arms,” she said.

Kim Stolfer, president of Firearms Owners Against Crime, and clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover will present facts and answer questions about the state’s concealed carry process, the Castle Doctrine and other valuable information regarding firearms safety and state gun laws including:

∫ How to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

∫ Self-defense and your rights.

∫ Reciprocity laws.

∫Legal enforcement of the laws.
