Remaining funds for wreath project go to Veterans Council

KEVIN RAUCH/THE EXPRESS

Renovo senior Elliot Probst’s senior project Wreaths for Warriors proved so successful that an additional $1,800 in donations remained after the Bucktail 12th grader placed wreaths on all of the veterans graves at the North Bend Cemetery this past holiday season. Elliot elected to make the rather sizeable donation to the Western Clinton County Veterans Council in which it will be placed into that groups Memorial Fund. Veterans accepting the donation again heaped praised on the young adult’s project, saying that they were just as thankful for the donation as they were of his efforts for those that lay in North Bend. Pictured recently during the presentation at the American Legion Post 442 in Renovo are, from left, Tom Bissman, Bob Probst, Bernie Huseth, Elliot Probst, Ron Jones, Art Kramer and Jay Morocco.
