Lots going

on today in

Lock Haven

There are two big events happening today in Lock Haven. At 10 a.m. the Rally for Recovery begins with the first ever Scenic Road Race 5K, for runners and walkers leaving from the Piper Building and ending 3.1 miles later at the Castanea Picnic Grounds where there will be food, games and vendors. And, beginning at 11 a.m., downtown Lock Haven will be filled with music as the day-long LH JAMS music festival gets underway. Both events are free, so get out and enjoy them.

Highland Cemetery fundraiser

The Lock Haven Paranormal Seekers are holding a fundraiser for Highland Cemetery. On Sept. 7 at 7 p.m., they will conduct a class and investigation in the cemetery. Space is limited, so register early. The cost is $15 with pre-registration, or $20 at the door. For further information or to register, call 570-660-4463 or e-mail loulhpa@gmail.com. Pre-payment is necessary to pre-register, and unless pre-registered, seats cannot be guaranteed.
