Free family fishing event at Bellefonte Hatchery Ponds

BELLEFONTE – Come fish with us!

PA Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is offering a FREE “Fish With A Waterways Conservation Officer – Family Fishing Event” on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at PFBC’s Bellefonte Hatchery Ponds, 1115 Spring Creek Road, Bellefonte.

PFBC will provide the bait, fishing equipment and the fishing license requirement is waived for those 16 and older, during the hours of the event! The event is for youth, adults and/or families interested in learning more about fishing.

It is a wonderful opportunity to socialize, learn and share fishing and boating experiences with Northcentral Region Waterways Conservation Officers, Deputy Waterways Conservation Officers and other anglers!

A light lunch will be provided by Spring Creek Trout Unlimited Veteran Service Program.
