LEIDY TOWNSHIP – Police said a theft occurred at 72 sometime in the night of Nov. 2 at Hamersly Fork Ave.

Police said the crime occurred as unknown actors removed a purse from the address. Anyone with information are urged to contact PSP Lamar.

Public drunkenness

MILL HALL – Police said Nancy Ann Galbraith, 62, of Lock Haven was taken in for public drunkenness in front of Variety Buffet on Hogan Boulevard.

Police said the incident occurred at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 4 when Galbraith was found to be causing a public inconvenience. Subsequent investigation revealed that she was under the influence of alcohol. She was then taken into custody.

Charges were filed through district court.

DUI crash

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP – A vehicle collision ended with a trip to the hospital and charges for DUI and possession of marijuana for Joshua W. Rich.

Rich, 28, of Woolrich, was traveling along Dutch Hollow Road around 480 feet of West Side Road when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve on the roadway and struck a tree head-on. The crash caused severe damage to the vehicle. Rich said he swerved to avoid two deer on the roadway.

Upon further investigation, Rich was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of marijuana. When blood results are received he will be charged through district court.

Rich was transported by emergency medical services for moderate injuries.
