Sentences handed down in Clinton County Court

LOCK HAVEN – The following sentences were handed down in Clinton County Court recently.

SIMPLE ASSAULT CONSPIRACY – Jeffrey Rowland Creadle of Lock Haven, charged by Lock Haven police for criminal conspiracy to engage in simple assault, entered a plea of nolo contendere, was fined $150 and was placed on probation for one year.

POSSESSION – Antany Tristan Childress of Berwick, charged by state police for possession of a controlled substance and prohibited offensive weapons, was fined $500 and was sentenced to 60 days to 23 months in the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – Lyle David Frey Jr. of Howard, charged by Lock Haven police for possession of a controlled substance, was fined $100 and was placed on probation for 12 months.

THEFT BY DECEPTION – Chelcie Elizabeth Styers of Blanchard, charged by state police for theft by deception, was fined $300, ordered to pay restitution to Wal-Mart for $79.50 and was placed on probation for 24 months.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Katherine Ann McCloskey of Mill Hall, charged by state police for criminal mischief, and having pleaded guilty, was fined $200, was ordered to make restitution for $375 and was placed on probation for 12 months. McCloskey was also charged with a criminal count of theft, paid a fine of $500, was ordered to make restitution and was sentenced to 24 months probation.

RETAIL THEFT – Crystal Kay Stover of Lock Haven, charged by state police for retail theft, was fined $100 and was placed on probation for 24 months.

DEFIANT TRESPASS -Joseph Andrew Okello of Lock Haven, charged by Lock Haven police for criminal and defiant trespass, was fined $100 and placed on probation for six months.

SIMPLE ASSAULT – Billy Joe Yednak of Renovo, charged by state police for simple assault, was fined $100 and was placed on probation for 18 months.

FALSIFICATION -Jonathan William Bierley of Loganton, charged by state police for unsworn falsification to authorities, was fined $500 and was placed on probation for 24 months.

POSSESSION, THEFT – Chelsey Lynn Condo of Lock Haven, charged by state police for controlled substance violation and theft by unlawful taking, was fined $100 and was placed on probation for 12 months.

RETAIL THEFT – Melissa Sue Workman of Lock Haven, charged by state police for retail theft, was fiend $100 and ordered to make restitution to Wal-Mart.

POSSESSION – Corey James Moore of Avis, charged by state police for possession of a controlled substance, was fined $250 and was placed on probation for 12 months.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – Curtis John Irvin of Lock Haven, charged by state police for receiving stolen property, was fined $1,000, ordered to make restitution to Bradley Irvin, Millers Gun Shop and Dick’s Bargain Center for $415, was sentenced to 24 months to 48 months in the Clinton County Correctional Facility. Irvin was also charged with a criminal count of retail theft and was fined $1,500 and sentenced to eight months to 24 months in a state correctional facility for that crime, consecutive to any other sentence he has received.

RETAIL THEFT – Denise Danielle Baney of Lock Haven, charged by state police for retail theft, was fined $500 and was placed on probation for 48 months.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS – Justin James Stoner of Lock Haven, charged by Lock Haven police for criminal trespass, was ordered to pay $300 restitution to Mark Grieb and was placed on probation for 36 months.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – William Edward Thomas Jr. of Lock Haven, charged by Lock Haven police for receiving stolen property, minor marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia and prohibited from possession of firearms, was fined $2,500 and was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 36 to 84 months.

THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING – Joseph Michael Caris of Jersey Shore, charged by state police for theft by unlawful taking, was fined $500, ordered to pay restitution of $169 to James Ward and was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Lyle David Frey Jr., of Howard, charged by Lock Haven police for criminal mischief, was fined $500 and was placed on probation for 24 months. Frey was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and was fined $1,000 and placed on probation for 24 hours on that charge.

THEFT BY DECEPTION – Arthur Leaton Phillips of Linden, charged by state police for theft by deception, was fined $1,000 and was placed on probation for 24 months.
