Driving on the sidewalk
LOCK HAVEN – Thomas Fields III of Renovo was charged by city police with driving on the sidewalk after he drove his vehicle onto the sidewalk near 46 W. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven, at 8:43 p.m. April 18. Fields told police he swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle.
DUI charged
LOCK HAVEN – City police investigated at accident in the area of North Fairview and West Water streets at about 8:30 p.m. April 12.
Police said a vehicle operated by Jason Scott Prasse of Perkasie, struck a vehicle operated by Cynthia D. Merryman of Lock Haven.
Prasse showed signs of impairment, was given field sobriety tests and then arrested for driving under the influence, police said. His BAC was determined to be .138, police said.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
Public drunkenness
LOCK HAVEN – Anthony Ray Stevenson, 33, of 3 King Arthur Drive, Mill Hall, was charged with public drunkenness after he was observed in the 100 block of Youngs Avenue at 8:58 a.m. April 20, city police report.
He was taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility due to his condition and will receive a citation, police said.
Credit card fraud
LOCK HAVEN – A 46-year-old woman from Lock Haven reported to city police that someone opened a Target credit card account in her name using her personal information. Police are investigating.
