Rear-end collision

LOCK HAVEN – A rear-end collision occurred on East Main Street on Oct. 13 about 3:12 p.m., city patrolman Joshua Eichenlaub reports.

Christine N. Brooks of Lock Haven became distracted while driving, causing her to rear-end a vehicle driven by Brenda K. Fenstamaker of Lock Haven, police said.

The incident caused minor damage to the front end of Brooks’ 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe and pushed in the bumper of Fenstamaker’s 2007 Chevrolet K-2500, according to police.

Injury sustained

LOCK HAVEN – A rear-end collision on Bellefonte Avenue, near Irwin and Frederick streets, left one driver with injuries about 12:35 p.m. Oct. 13, city police report.

Police said Athina Metzger of Jersey Shore was distracted when she rear-ended a vehicle driven by Paul D. Lamb of Philipsburg, disabling both vehicles.

Metzger was taken by emergency medical services to the Lock Haven Hospital emergency room, according to police.

Lamb told police he was stopped on Bellefonte Avenue, due to traffic turning, and was struck from behind, pushing the bumper and tow hitch under the 2003 Nissan Xterra he was driving.

Metzger told police she attempted to break, but the pedal went straight to the floor after slowing down, according to police.

The hood of the 2010 Grand Caravan Metzger was driving was bent up and the front bumper was torn off, police said.

Equipment stolen

CENTRE HALL – Two items of equipment were stolen Monday from Walker and Walker Equipment in Centre Hall, state police at Rockview said.

Police said a 2015 Kubota lawnmower valued at $9,500 and a 2015 Kubota utility vehicle with an estimated value of $22,100 were stolen from the property.
