Attempt to flee police

SPRING MILLS – State police investigating the report of a suspicious vehicle at the New Hope Lutheran Church, Gregg Township, Centre County, ended up pursing the vehicle about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 20, according to state police at Rockview.

Police arrived at the church, encountered the suspicious vehicle and pursued it, according to the report.

A suspect has been identified, police said, however no name was released.

Police said, contrary to social media posts, the incident was unrelated to any terroristic activities.

Harassment alleged

LOCK HAVEN – Two men are being charged with harassment after an incident that allegedly occurred around 5 p.m. Dec. 5 under the Paul Mack Boulevard Bridge, near North Grove Street, city police report.

Clarence Dunnelly, 19, of Lock Haven, is being charged with harassment and furnishing alcohol to minors for allegedly giving a 16-year-old boy alcohol at the above time and location, police said.

Dunnelly then allegedly slapped the teen multiple times in the face, according to police.

Bradley Robert Dennison, 20, of Lock Haven, is being charged for allegedly dragging an unidentified 16-year-old boy across concrete, injuring the teen’s back, also at the same place and time, police said.

Disorderly conduct alleged

LOCK HAVEN – Tracy Lee Young, 37, of 361 E. Park St., Lock Haven, is being cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly becoming involved in a verbal argument with her husband that caused her neighbor to call the police about 8 p.m. Dec. 18, city police report.

Bicycle found

LOCK HAVEN – A black and white Shimano “Genesis” 10-speed bike was dound near the Verizon building on Bellefonte Avenue about 11:45 a.m. Dec. 18, city police said.

Criminal mischief

LOCK HAVEN – A vehicle parked in the 10 block of South Jones Street was keyed overnight Dec. 17, city police report.

The vehicle belongs to a 77-year-old man, and damage is estimated at $50, police said.

Deer struck

LOCK HAVEN -Danielle Marie Owen, 22, of Glenolden, Pa., struck a deer while traveling on East Water Street, near Memorial Park, about 7:54 p.m. Dec. 20, city police report.

City police Officer Andrew Fisher was traveling behind Owen when she hit her brakes to avoid a deer in the road, police said.

Owen told police that another deer then ran out and hit the hood of her vehicle, according to police.

The passenger side headlight cover was smashed in the accident, police said.
