JERSEY SHORE – A woman from Lock Haven was transported by ambulance to Jersey Shore Hospital after her 2003 silver Toyota Corola was rear-ended as she attempted to make a turn in Antes Fort.

Teresa Segraves, 60, was in the southbound lane of Route 44 waiting to turn onto Main Street in Antes Fort when George Collins of Jersey Shore did not stop in time and hit the back end of Segraves’ vehicle with his 2001 white Chevy Cavilier, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional police on scene.

Collins, the only occupant in his car, was not injured. His airbags deployed and he was wearing a seatbelt, as was Segraves, who was also driving alone, according to police.

Jersey Shore Area EMS responded to the scene and transported the injured woman to Jersey Shore Hospital.

Rescue units from Antes Fort and Independent Hose Co. both responded to the scene and began cleaning the roadway of debris and fluids from the vehicles.
