Bicycle found

LOCK HAVEN – Woodward Township police say the recovered a men’s 26-inch Mongoose MGX S20 bicycle in the area of 129 Woodward Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 10. The owner may claim the bike at WTPD office at 86 Riverside Terrace; reference report #16-616.

Liquor law violation

JERSEY SHORE – The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement issued a citation to The South Avis Inn, 67 Maryland Ave., on Aug. 4, 2016. Control Board officers reported the Inn failed to have a board approved manager complete RAMP training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment, and failed to post in a conspicuous place on the outside of the licensed premises, or in a window plainly visible from the outside of the premises a notice of suspension.

Rear-end collision

LOCK HAVEN – City police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot at Keller and Munro on East Church Street.

Police said vehicles operated by Arlene McCloskey of Beech Creek and Betty Jean Reitz of Lock Haven backed into each other as they were backing out of parking stalls.

Damage was minor; no one was injured.
