Police issue warrants in fatal overdose

Two suspects jailed; one still unaccounted for

LOCK HAVEN – Arrest warrants have been issued for Mason Winner, Richard Gee and Blake Confer on charges related to the alleged heroin overdose death of Brent Stabley, who was found unresponsive lying along Cree Drive on Oct. 2, city police said.

The warrants list the charges of recklessly endangering another person and abuse of corpse.

Confer was picked up yesterday, Nov. 16, and jailed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail, police said.

Gee is currently an inmate at the Lycoming County Prison in Williamsport.

However, Winner’s location was unknown at the time the warrants were issued, police said.

Winner, Gee and Confer were allegedly driving a vehicle with Stabley inside but unconscious. They allegedly dumped him at Cree Drive and Irwin Street, just a couple hundred yards from Lock Haven Hospital, the night of Oct. 2.

Two prison officers escorting an inmate found Stabley lying along the road. He is believed to have died from a heroin overdose.
