Vehicle crash

williamsport — A two-vehicle crash occurred at 4:55 p.m. Friday involving a 26-year-old woman from Lock Haven, on Four Mile Drive in the area of Valley Heights Drive in Loyalsock Township.

A 79-year-old man was headed east on Four Mile Drive and did not see a vehicle being driven without lights on by the Lock Haven woman who was traveling west at the time, according to police. The man attempted to turn onto Valley Heights Drive and struck the other vehicle, police reported.

Charges were filed accordingly, police said.

Police did not identify either driver in the report.

DUI alleged

linden — Tyler Ray Vaughan, 18, of Jersey Shore was stopped in the 5600 block of North Route 220, Woodward Township, at 6:24 p.m. Friday, according to investigating officer Jonathan R. Thompson of the state police at Montoursville.

Upon further investigation it was determined that Vaughan was under the influence of narcotics, according to the report. Charges for DUI and violations of ACT 64 — namely possession of marijuana and paraphernalia — were filed in District Court 29-3-01, police said.
