Careless driving,

possible injuries

WILLIAMSPORT — Amanda A. Lewis, 26, of Lock Haven, was charged with careless driving after colliding with another vehicle driven by Harold M. Ingram, 85, of Williamsport, at the intersection of Four Mile Drive and Valley Heights Drive in Loyalsock Township, according to state police at Montoursville.

The crash occurred Nov. 23, at approximately 5 p.m. as Ingram was making a left turn onto the road and did not see Lewis’s car as she was driving without her headlights on, police said.

Lewis and two passengers in her car, Riann E. Norris, 26, and Pierre L. Hopson, 49, both of Williamsport, were transported to Williamsport Hospital for possible injuries, police said. Police also report that Ingram was transported to Williamsport Hospital for a possible injury, but his sole passenger, Roberta Ingram, 84, of Williamsport, was not.

One-vehicle crash

WILLIAMSPORT — Zachary O. Swartz, 17, of Williamsport, crashed into a stone pillar and light pole after failing to negotiate a curve on Heshbon Road near Leola Lane on Thursday, Nov. 24, at approximately 10 p.m., according to state police at Montoursville.

Swartz and his passenger, Dayton A. Buck, 18, of Jersey Shore, were transported to Williamsport Regional Hospital for assessment of possible injuries, police said.

Police charged Swartz with driving on the wrong side of the road. His car was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
