Woman accused of

shoplifting for 13th time

WILLIAMSPORT – When Starleatha Goudy was caught shortly after allegedly stealing $152 worth of merchandise from the Weis Market at 620 W. Third St.  about 9:45 a.m. Friday, it turned out to be her 13th arrest for shoplifting, city police said. Goudy, 49, of 770 1/2 W. Fourth St., bolted from the supermarket, but was nabbed in a matter of minutes near Walnut and West Edwin streets, police said, adding that initially she gave officers a false identification. Following her arraignment before District Judge William Solomon on felony shoplifting and false identification to law enforcement, Goudy was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

DUI

CASTANEA–Theodore Lynn, 26, of 126 East Fairmont Ave. State College, was taken into custody on Oct. 10, 2016 at 9:09 p.m. and released the same evening on suspicion of DUI after he crashed his vehicle on SR 0220 Southbound approximately one mile south of McElhattan exit. According to police investigation, Lynn was changed with DUI and related traffic charges as well as possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Retail Theft

MILL HALL–Roy Joseph Miller, 23, of 238 Seminary Street, Jersey Shore, allegedly filled a 30g tote with items and walked past all points of sale without paying for the merchandise on Nov. 19, 2016 at around 7:15 p.m. The value of all stolen items was $404.71. Miller was changed with one count of M-1 Retail Theft, according to police.

Dog Law

HOWARD–The female husky of Jonas Esch of Howard, left his property on Jan. 13, 2017, traveled to 175 School House Drive, Howard, where the dog killed 1 female goose, 11 registered 4H rabbits and 4 ducks, according to police.

Criminal Mischief

BELLEFONTE–An 18-year-old male was allegedly observed to slash the tires of a 17-year-old’s vehicle after an interaction regarding a female at a camp party on Gum Stump Road, Bellefonte, on Jan. 15, 2017, according to police.  Charges pending.

Harassment

FLEMINGTON–On Jan. 13, 2017 at 4 p.m., Lucinda Marie Robison-Dewitt of Flemington and Stephanie Elizabeth Ferre of Lock Haven got into a verbal argument at the above location. According to police, the verbal argument turned physical where both Robison-Dewitt and Ferre struck each other. A 16-year-old then got in between of Robison-Dewitt an Ferre. The 16-year-old then was struck by Ferre and then the 16-year-old struck Ferre. All were charged with harassment through district magistrate 25-3-01.

Hit and Run

MILL HALL–This crash occurred on Jan. 13, 2017, on 125 Hogan Blvd, Mill Hall as an Oldsmobile Cutlass was legally parked in a traffic way. The unknown driver of a Chevrolet backed into the Oldsmobile resulting in minor damage to the front hood of the vehicle. The driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene in an unknown direction. The owner of the Oldsmobile was able to drive away from the scene.

Criminal Mischief

CASTANEA– Eric Michael Clausen of Lock Haven, allegedly ripped off the face plate of an electrical meter belonging to Robert Misorti Jr. at 18 Logan Ave. Castanea on Jan. 12, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. Clausen was charged for damage to the face plate of the electrical meter and charged with criminal mischief, according to police.
