Criminal mischief

LOGANTON — Someone smashed out the rear window of an E45 Bobcat excavator owned by PennDOT, at Route 880 and Rockey Road in Greene Township, according to state police at Lamar. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the barracks at 570-726-6000.

Money stolen

LAMAR — Money was stolen from a purse at 1354 Dotterers Road at 12:30 p.m. last Monday, according to state police at Lamar. It belongs to a 54-year-old woman from State College whom policde did not identify. Anyone with information is asked to call the barracks at 570-726-6000.

Asleep at the wheel

MILL HALL — Ricky W. Brickley, 60, of Loganton drove his Nissan Frontier off the roadway and struck some shrubbery after he fell asleep at the wheel on Long Run Road on March 1 at 4:30 p.m., according to state police at Lamar. Brickley was injured but was not taken to the hospital, police said.

Two-vehicle collision

MILL HALL — A crash occurred Friday at 6:30 a.m. on Hogan Boulevard at the intersection of Draketown Road, according to state police at Lamar.

Holly L. Chapman, 33, of Flemington was headed north on Hogan Boulevard when a vehicle failure occurred and she lost control of her car, police said. It struck a car driven by Scott G. Schenck, 56, of North Bend, which was stopped on Draketown Road at the intersection.

Neither Chapman nor Schenck were injured, police reported. Martin Motors assisted at the scene.
