Vandals hit car

LAMAR — Between midnight and 12:30 a.m. on July 2, police were called to 427 Wright St. in Flemington, after it was reported that a light blue Subaru Impreza was egged by unknown persons causing damage to the paint and windshield.

Disorderly conduct

RENOVO — On July 4 state police at Lamar were called to the corner of Erie Avenue and 4th Street in Renovo to investigate an unusual incident.

According to police, a man left his dog in his vehicle while he was a patron at the Keystone Bar, and a woman got the dog out of the car. A verbal argument ensued causing a disturbance, police said. Both were charged with disorderly conduct.

Simple assault

CASTANEA — State police at Lamar are investigating a report of simple assault that occurred on July 7 at 10:15 p.m. at 200 E. Keller St. Gregg Andrew Gharet, 26, of Castanea head-butted his father in the face during a verbal argument, police allege.

Runaway charged

with trespassing

LOGANTON — A 17-year-old female ran away from her home and entered the RV camper of Edward Miller Jr., of Loganton, in the early hours of July 9, state police at Lamar report. Miller contacted police and the girl was taken into custody.

Clinton County Children and Youth Services were contacted and the girl was charged with trespassing and taken to the Bellefonte Detention Center.

Theft of jewelry

JERSEY SHORE — On July 1, Esther Haugh of Jersey Shore reported to state police that someone stole numerous items of jewelry from her home.

Man crashes car due

to medical problem

JERSEY SHORE — On July 3, at 10:12 a.m., Richard A. Eck, 85, of Jersey Shore crashed his vehicle into a guide rail and a utility pole on Route 287 in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County, according to state police at Montoursville.

Police said Eck suffered an apparent medical emergency, causing him to lose control of his vehicle. Eck was transported to Williamsport Hospital for injuries.

Money stolen

LINDEN — Gordon and Judy Stewart, of Linden, reported to state police at Montoursville that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from their home in Anthony Township between June 27 and 29.

Two-vehicle accident

JERSEY SHORE — State police investigated a two-vehicle accident on July 8, at 2:16 p.m. on Coudersport Pike, McHenry Township.

A vehicle driven by Dylan Flook, 18, of Lock Haven, hit the side bumper of a vehicle operated by Johnathan Hau, 28, of Lock Haven, police said.

Hau and a passenger in his car, Mazzie Hau, 24, of Lock Haven, were transported to Jersey Shore Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Flook was attempting to turn into a parking lot on the east side of Coudersport Pike as Hau was traveling in the opposite direction toward Flook when Flook’s front bumper made impact with Hau’s side bumper, police said.

Tire blows

LOGANTON — On July 8, at approximately1 p.m., Jose A. Garay, 46, of Elgin, Ill., lost control of his vehicle on Interstate 80 in Greene Township after the right tire on the trailing unit blew. The flat tire caused the truck trailer to jack-knife, police said.

Fog contributes to crash

MILL HALL — Heavy fog is believed to have contributed to an accident on July 8, state police at Lamar said.

Reggie L. Mauk, 85, of Howard, told police he was unable to see because of fog and his car hit a guide rail on Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township.

Both Mauk and his wife, Carol, were transported to Lock Haven emergency room with minor injuries, police said.

Crash at intersection

MILL HALL — Vehicles operated by Jean Cox, 61, of Lock Haven and Ardell Germello, 32, of Lock Haven, collided on Hogan Boulevard at the intersection of Beau Newton Way on July 2 at 4:05 p.m., state police at Lamar said.

According to police, neither driver was hurt and damage to the vehicles was minor.

Bike stolen

LOCK HAVEN — City police are investigating a report of the theft of a girls 26-inch, 18-speed NEXT mountain bike valued at $100 from the porch of a residence in Williamson Heights on July 10.

Grass violations

LOCK HAVEN — City police cited two property owners for violation of the grass and weed ordinance.

r Brooks McLean, 56, of Lock Haven, allowed his grass and weeds to grow in excess of eight inches and allowed bushes to grow over the sidewalk at his home at 278 S. Jones St., police said. The citation was dated July 9.

r Kenneth Gilman and Tehmeena Ahmad failed to maintain the vegetative growth at 19 Myrtle St., police said. The citation was dated July 9.

Car hits utility pole

PLEASANT GAP — A car driven by Caitlyn Moore, 25, of Pleasant Gap, struck a guard rail on Walnut Street at 7:10 p.m. June 18, state police at Rockview reported. Moore suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center, police said.

Possession of Suboxone

MILLHEIM — State police at Rockview said they charged Ricky Irwin, 42, of Millheim, with possession of Suboxne and drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West Main Street, Millheim, at 9:01 p.m. June 16.
