Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — A 49-year-old suspect from Julian was stopped for a traffic violation on South Eagle Valley Road on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 1:33 p.m., and was found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, state police at Rockview said.

Suspected DUI

BELLEFONTE — Cory Duffield, 40, of Lock Haven, was driving a vehicle with occupants –William Johnson, 33, of Scranton, and Christopher Johnson, 30, of Mill Hall — on Saturday, May 27, at 7:50 p.m., when they were involved in a crash on Penns Valley Road in Centre County, according to state police at Rockview.

During the investigation, police said it was discovered that Duffield was driving under the influence, and drug paraphernalia was found in the possession of all three.

Harassment charge

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview were called on Monday, Aug. 31 at 2:50 a.m. to investigate a 911 call in which the only information provided was the address of 272 Lutz Road.

Police said that upon arriving at the scene, a female, 30, of Spring Township was located in the upstairs bedroom, and she reported a physical altercation between her and her boyfriend, 43, also of Spring Township. The 43-year-old male has been charged with one count of harassment through District Court 49-3-02.

Underage party

BELLEFONTE — On Friday July 28, state police at Rockview responded to a report of a loud underage party, as well as numerous traffic violations in the area of 197 Circle Road in Boggs Township. Police said they located a 16-year-old girl who was the host of the party, and cited her for underage possession, before ending the party and contacting the juvenile’s parents.

Thrown cross

BELLEFONTE — Sometime between 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, and 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, unknown actor(s) removed a cross that was placed in a field on SR192 near Madisonburg and threw it onto a known male victim’s yard in the 3200 block of Penns Valley Pike in Potter Township, state police at Rockview reported.

Fleeing a crash

MILLHEIM — On Tuesday, July 18, an unknown driver in a 2001 Subaru Forester was traveling west on Race Alley when he or she failed to stop at a stop sign and continued into the intersection with Penn Street, driving into the path of a 2009 Jeep Laredo driven by Gregory Reish, 50, state police at Rockview said.

According to police, the Forester was forced into a bridge railing, which collapsed as the vehicle continued into the small creek below. The operator fled the scene, police said.

Harassment, loitering, prowling

LOCK HAVEN — On Monday, Aug. 1, Michael Killinger, 60, of Lock Haven was arrested for disorderly conduct, loitering, harassment and prowling at night. According to police, Killinger harassed and threatened a 56-year-old woman and a 49-year-old woman.

Car hood scratched

LOCK HAVEN — On Saturday, July 30, a car parked at 300 E. Park St. was found with a large scratch on the hood. According to police, the victim’s vehicle was found with the scratch on hood the next morning. Police said this occurred overnight.

Stolen tire

LOCK HAVEN — According to police, an unknown person took a wheel from a parked vehicle on Aug. 1. Police said the theft took place at 8:26 a.m.

Harassment charge

LOCK HAVEN — On July 25 at 11:40 p.m., police arrested Jeffrey Pilosky, 51, of Lock Haven for harassment. According to police, Pilosky was cited for harassment after subjecting a person to physical contact.
