Upcoming checkpoints

LAMAR — Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar would like to remind motorists to move over to an open lane and/or reduce speed when they see police stopped along the highway with their emergency lights activated, in advance of Sobriety Checkpoints to be ran across Clinton County throughout the upcoming Labor Day weekend. Checkpoints will be conducted to reduce the number of alcohol- and drug-related crashes.

Stolen tickets

MILESBURG — Unknown actor(s) entered the vehicle of a 56-year-old female victim from Rebersburg sometime between Sunday, June 25 and Saturday, Aug. 12, and removed two Grange Fair tickets before fleeing, Rockview state police said. The investigation continues.

Suspected DUI

WILLIAMSPORT — Walter Wagner of Loganton was stopped on West Third Street in Williamsport after traffic violations were observed on Saturday, July 15, at 2:06 a.m., upon which he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville.
