Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident where two suspects — a 22-year-old Julian man and a 20-year-old Bellefonte woman — were found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a warrant service on Ammerman Toad, Union Township at 834 a.m. Oct. 15.

Disorderly conduct

LAMAR — Three people from outside Pennsylvania were charged with disorderly conduct for fighting in public at the Pilot Service Station, 5868 Nittany Valley Drive, Porter Township, at 6:38 p.m. Oct. 12, according to state police at Lamar.

Those charged are David Granger, 55, and Melissa Stewart, 45, both of New Britain, Ct., and Eddie Williams, 55, of Indianapolis, Ind.

Police said Williams and Stewart engaged in an argument at the Pilot over Williams having his service dog in the store. Granger, the boyfriend of Stewart, also became involved and a physical altercation occurred in the parking lot with all three engaged in fighting.

Harboring a dangerous dog

REBERSBURG — Macade Ardell Thompson, 21, of Rebersburg, has been charged by state police at Rockview with harboring a dangerous dog, after the dog got off his property and bit a woman.

Police said Thompson’s 5-year-old German Shepherd left the rear of 126 W. Main St., went onto South Alley and attacked and bit Karlene Kay Fultz of Rebersburg on the left ankle leaving a significant gaping wound.

The incident occurred at 6 p.m. Oct. 13.

Found item

BELLEFONTE — A black LG smart phone with a serial number of 612CQFT0876251 was found in the 400 block of Decker Valley Road in Potter Township at p.m. Oct. 13, state police at Rockview report.

Police said the phone is at the Rockview barracks and can be recovered by the owner. Contact is 814-355-7545.

Burglary in Snow Shoe

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Snow Shoe business at 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 14.

Police said an unknown actor forced entry into the business and while inside damaged several gaming machines and took money inside the machines.

Slapped during an argument

MILLHEIM — A 55-year-old female suspect, of Millheim, purportedly slapped a 45-year-old male victim, also of Millheim, during an argument at a white camper parked on Coburn Road, in Millheim, on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 4:30 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

Stolen Kayak

PLEASANT GAP — Unknown actor(s) removed a 37-year-old male victim’s kayak as it was chained at the southern side of Coyler Lake sometime between Thursday, Sept. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 7, according to Rockview State Police.

Pumpkinless porch

MILLHEIM — Sometime between Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 14, unknown actor(s) took the pumpkins off of a 43-year-old male victim’s porch at 149 Penn St. in Millheim, state police at Rockview reported.

Underage drinking

LOCK HAVEN — City police said that James Doherty, 18, of Smith Hall, was cited for underage drinking after being found in public on Stone Alley, under the influence at 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Retail theft

MILL HALL — Brooke Latiesha Wingard, 22, of Spring Mills, has been accused of stealing $248.09 of merchandise at Walmart at 2:29 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, Lamar state police said.

Criminal Mischief

LOCK HAVEN — Sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, a postal vehicle on the 10 block of West Main Street was damaged, according to Lock Haven city police.

Three-vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN — Hannah Shearer, 21, of Renovo, was driving westbound on Renovo Road on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 2:36 p.m., when she didn’t see the two vehicles in front of her stopping, which led to her swerving to the right to pass the vehicle in front of her, driven by John Whitcomb, 42, of Emporium, only to collide with a vehicle, driven by William Perez, 66, of Williamsport, which was turning left into the Baker Run Canoe Launch parking lot, according to Lamar state police.

Police said that the front end of Shearer’s vehicle struck Perez’s rear end, causing Shearer’s vehicle to spin around and strike Whitcomb’s vehicle in its right rear. After the initial impact, Perez’s vehicle spun 180 degrees and impacted with a large rock, while Whitcomb’s vehicle came to rest after impact, and Shearer’s vehicle continued traveling northwest before coming to a rest approximately 50 feet north of the road, police reported.

Police also said that Shearer was transported by EMS to Lock Haven Hospital for a suspected minor injury, and was charged with Following Too Closely, while the other two drivers were unharmed.

Hit and run crash

LOCK HAVEN — A vehicle owned by Steve Killinger was struck sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, while parked on East Water Street across from the courthouse. The driver’s side mirror was damaged and his vehicle was dented as the mirror was pushed back into the car, Lock Haven city police said.

Accident in parking lot

LOCK HAVEN — City Police investigated a two-vehicle accident in the Weis parking lot at 6:43 p.m. Oct. 14.

Mary Zimmerman of Lock Haven told police she was pulling into a parking spot when she drove in front of a vehicle driven by Kyle Bechdel of Lock Haven, who was backing out of a parking spot.

There were no injuries and both cars were driveable, police said.
