Driver seriously

hurt in fiery crash

BELLEFONTE — A four-vehicle accident on I-80 at mile marker 161 resulted in one vehicle catching fire, state police at Rockview said.

The accident occurred on Friday, Oct. 20, at about 4 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Robert A. Kzakovsky, 47, of New Bethlehem, struck two vehicles. One was driven by Muris Krso, 43, of Erie and the other driven by Alan M. Watson, of Williamsport. Watson’s vehicle struck the fourth vehicle driven by John A. Sanborn, of Janesville, Wis.

Kzakovsky was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center for possible serious injures by Bellefonte EMS after his vehicle caught on fire, police said.

Both Watson and his passenger, Bryant W. Middleton, 49, of Williamsport, were transported by Bellefonte EMS for suspected minor injury.

The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed to traffic for several hours.

Aggravated assault

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of aggravated assault.

The incident took place on Oct. 21 near Buffalo Run Road and North Filmore Road, police said.

Vehicle rear-ended

BELLEFONTE — A two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of General Potter Highway and Wild Turkey Drive, state police at Rockview said.

The accident happened when a vehicle driven by Sithorn Prak, 60, of Harrisburg, was driving on General Potter Highway East. Prak began to slow down due to traffic near Wild Turkey Drive when a vehicle driven by Mellisa M. Nale, 24, of Milroy, Pa., rear ended the vehicle, police said.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and were not injured, police said.

Nale has been charged with driving vehicle at safe speed, police said.

Theft of firearm

MILLHEIM — Two minors may face charges of burglary, theft of firearm and possession of firearm by a minor, state police at Rockview said.

The 11-year-old and 13-year-old boys are accused of stealing a firearm from a 46-year-old woman at West Main Street, Millheim, on Oct. 8 at about 12 p.m., police said.

Vehicle damaged

MILESBURG — A Milesburg woman’s vehicle was damaged between Oct. 20 and 21, state police at Rockview said.

The incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. when unknown suspects damaged the woman’s front and rear tire while the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Turnpike Street, police said.

The investigation is on going.

DUIs alleged

BELLEFONTE –Several driving under the influence charges are pending, according to state police at Rockview.

r A 39-year-old man from Port Matilda was taken into custody for possible DUI on Oct. 20 at about 1 a.m. during a traffic stop. He was transported to Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw, police said.

r A 24-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation on Oct. 20 at about 5 a.m. near Amberleigh Drive and Farmington Lane in Spring Township, police said. He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw, police said.

r A 49-year-old Snow Shoe man was stopped for a traffic violation at 2 a.m. on Oct. 21 at East Sycamore Road. He man was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw, police said.

Disorderly conduct

MILESBURG — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of disorderly conduct.

The incident occurred at 300 Turnpike St., Milesburg, on Oct. 19 at about 8 p.m., police said.
