Hunting cabin

burglarized

AARONSBURG — A 48-year-old man from Aaronsburg reported a break-in at a log cabin in Centre County, state police at Rockview said.

Trooper John Schall said that a suspect broke the front window of the cabin located at 258 Yoder Lane, Aaronsburg, and stole several hunting items. The incident occurred between Sept. 16 and Oct. 1.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Vehicle vandalized

BELLEFONTE — A Bellefonte woman’s vehicle was vandalized while parked outside of a friend’s home in Benner Township, state police at Rockview said.

According to Trooper Rounsley, a vehicle owned by Jennifer Prisk, 35, and Kristy Ammerman, 32, was vandalized between 9 p.m. Oct. 1 and 9 a.m. Oct. 2 outside a home on Buffalo Run Road in Centre County.

The investigation continues, police said.

Minor steals iPhone

SPRING MILLS — Penns Valley High School is taking disciplinary action on a 13-year-old girl, of Aaronsburg, who stole an iPhone 5, state police at Rockview said.

Trooper John Schall said between the use of the “find my iPhone” app and school surveillance cameras, the phone was able to be found and returned to the victim, a 22-year-old woman from State College.

Outdoor

furniture stolen

BLANCHARD — Multiple pieces of outdoor furniture were stolen from the front porch of a woman’s home in Blanchard, state police at Rockview said.

The incident occurred on Oct. 1 between the hours of midnight and 8:45 a.m., Trooper Rounsley said.

Marian Louise Stevenson, 65, said that three metal patio chairs, a small wooden table and a wooden planter were removed from the front porch of her home on Main Street in Blanchard.

The investigation continues, police said.
