Elderly couple threatened

BELLEFONTE — A man and a woman are accused of threatening an 80-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman on Hilltop Drive, Burnside Township, state police at Rockview said.

Adam Berenty, 42, address not listed, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and other charges after he pointed a BB gun at the victims and made threatening statements, police said.

Tabitha Bilbay, 32, address not listed, was charged for harassment/disorderly conduct and drug paraphernalia, police said.

The incident happened at about 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 27, police said.

Charged with robbery

LINDEN — State police at Montoursville investigated a domestic dispute on Sept. 25 at about 11 a.m. on Route 220 in the southbound lanes.

An unnamed suspect is accused of kicking a 21-year-old woman out of his vehicle and stealing her purse, Trooper Ernest J. Capabianco Jr. said.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Charges were filed through District Judge Jerry Lepley.

Two-vehicle crash

NEWBERRY — A driver was charged with speeding after a crash on Oct. 9 at about 8 a.m., state police at Montoursville said.

The accident occurred on Route 220 near the West Fourth Street exit, Trooper Gary Beadle said.

Matthew P. Rosamilia, 47, of Mill Hall, was driving north, following Jessica L. Sweely, 26, of Jersey Shore, when they came upon road construction. Sweely stopped her 2017 Honda HRV due to traffic and Rosamilia’s vehicle struck the rear of her vehicle, police said.

No injuries were reported and Rosamilia received a citation, police said.

DUIs alleged

Several drivers are accused of driving under the influence by area police agencies.

r A 27-year-old woman from Bellefonte crashed her vehicle in the 2700 block of Zion Road, Walker Township, Centre County on Oct. 6 at about 3 a.m., state police at Rockview said. After the crash the woman was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw, police said.

r State police at Rockview said a 30-year-old Howard woman crashed her car at 5300 North Eagle Valley Road, Liberty Twp., on Oct. 7 at about 2:30 a.m. The woman was transported to Lock Haven Hospital for a legal blood draw and treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

r A 21-year-old Beech Creek man was stopped for a traffic violation on Little Sugar Run Road on Oct. 7 at about midnight, state police at Rockview said. The man was transported to Mount Nittany Medical center for a legal blood draw.

r A 33-year-old man from Howard was pulled over for a traffic stop in the 4000 block of North Eagle Valley Road in Liberty Township at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 8, state police at Rockview said. The man was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw.
