JS man faces charges after chase

JERSEY SHORE — A police chase that started on East Main Street in Lock Haven ended in the parking lot of the Lifetree Church on River Road in Jersey Shore, state police at Lamar said.

Ian Michael Lehman, 32, of Jersey Shore, allegedly fled in a vehicle from Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police during a traffic stop.

Lehman is accused of striking a state police patrol unit and a Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police Department patrol unit during his attempt to elude arrest in Lock Haven, police said.

Lehman had finally stopped his vehicle in Porter Twp., Lycoming County, where he was placed under arrest, police said.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, careless driving, and reckless driving, police said.

Charges were filed through District Judge Joseph Sanders office.
