Driver ejected from vehicle

MONTOURSVILLE — A driver was ejected from their vehicle after an accident that occurred on Oct. 29 at about 2 a.m., state police at Montoursville said.

The accident occurred when a Ford F150, driven by Marco A. Garcia, 20, of Forth Worth, Texas, was driving on Lincoln Drive, Loyalsock Twp., and crossed over the double yellow line and travelled across the northbound lane, police said.

Police said the truck then travelled over a curb on the east side of the roadway. The truck continued to travel in a southeast direction and struck two brick pillars, it then landed on it’s front end and struck the embankment of a yard.

Garcia was ejected onto the yard through the front windshield and the truck overturned repeatedly towards a home at 1340 Northway Rd. where it struck the residence and came to final rest against the home and a utility wire, police said.

Garcia was transported to Williamsport Hospital by Loyalsock EMS for suspected minor injuries, police said, and charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Car Vandalized

MONTOURSVILLE– State police at Montoursville are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred Nov. 3 or 4 between 10:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

C. Fessler, 24, of Laurel Drive, Montoursville, car was vandalized, police said, by unknown suspects who put red paint on the front and rear windshields of the victim’s car.

The suspects then fled by unknown means, police said.

Paypal hacked

MONTOURSVILLE — A 43-year-old woman, of Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming county, was the victim of theft by deception, state police at Montoursville said.

According to police a suspect from West Chester, Pa., is accused of hacking into the victim’s Paypal account and ordered various items off of goldenstatemint.com.

LOYALSOCK — A theft occurred at Moe’s Southwest Grille, Loyalsock Twp., on Oct. 22 or 23 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 9 a.m., state police at Montoursville said.
