Cow in the road

SPRING MILLS — A vehicle driven by Robert J. Fox, 51, of Coburn, was traveling west on Beaver Dam Road, near House 342, on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7:20 a.m., when it impacted a cow that was in the middle of the road, and was hard to see due to it being a black cow in the dark, state police at Rockview reported. There were no human injuries.

Deer runs into road

MUNCY — On Friday, Nov. 10, at 5:42 p.m., Timothy Dewitt, 49, of Lock Haven, and his passenger Shelley Dewitt, 45, also of Lock Haven, were traveling east on State Route 442, by South Gardner Road, when a deer entered the roadway and entered their lane of travel, causing an impact, State Police at Montoursville said. There were no human injuries.

Suspected DUI

WILLIAMSPORT — Bradley Owen Pepperman, 27, of 1843 Chapel Hill Road, Linden, was stopped by state police from Montoursville on Sept. 1 for careless driving and suspected of DUI. The stop was made following a wreck in the 3200 block of Pine Run Road, according to police.

Theft of package

JERSEY SHORE — Susan Harris, 55, of 639 Cemetery St. Apt. 9, Jersey Shore, allegedly took a package from someone in her apartment, according to the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police. She has been charged with theft, police said.

Suspected DUI

JERSEY SHORE — Loyd D. Willits, 56, of 484 Cherry Alley, Apt. 2, Jersey Shore, allegedly struck a guard rail at 400 Allegheny St. on Nov. 3, and has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge for DUI, accident involving injury, reckless and careless driving, and driving without a license, according to the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.

Marijuana Possession

JERSEY SHORE — Tina Gannon, 36, of 347 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge for charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police said.

Stealing from a register

JERSEY SHORE — Jo Elaine Snook, 58, of 110 1/2 N. Lincoln Ave., Jersey Shore, has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge for theft by unlawfully taking and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $200 from a cash register at the Jiffy Market on Oct. 21, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.

Suspected DUI

JERSEY SHORE — David M. Cohick, 26, of 3722 Canoe Run Road, Jersey Shore, has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge for an alleged DUI at 200 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, on Oct. 29, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police reported.
