Truck crash

MONTOURSVILLE — Zachary W. Donahay, 22, of Beech Creek was driving a 1999 Mack truck west on I-180 about two miles from the Faxon exit when he crashed Monday at 10:34 a.m., according to state police at Montoursville.

Donahay lost control of the vehicle and struck a guard rail, police said. He then over-corrected his steering and the vehicle spun counter-clockwise across both westbound lanes, hitting the guide rail separating the eastbound and westbound lanes with its passenger side, police said.

Loyalsock Township Fire Co., the Department of Environmental Protection and PennDOT assisted at the scene, police said.

Donahay was cited for violating roadways laned for traffic, driving at a safe speed and false reports, police said.
