Alleged DUI crash

BELLEFONTE — Brett Andrew Himes, 23, of Brockport, Pa., has been charged in a possible DUI crash that occurred on Dec. 11, 2017 at about 1 a.m. in Gregg Township, state police at Rockview said.

Himes was driving on Grenoble Road when his vehicle went off the roadway, and he was ejected when the vehicle struck a guide rail, went airborne, sheared off a telephone pole and rolled down an embankment, police said.

Himes was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, police said.

Retail theft

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar said they are investigating a retail theft at Weis Markets about 4 p.m. Friday.

Adam James Feleppa, 37, is accused of stealing a box of Mucinex DM valued at $25.99, police said.

Charges have been filed at district court, police said.

Liquor Control report

WILLIAMSPORT — Officers assigned to District Enforcement Office 6 of the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement made three criminal arrests in December.

In the same month, they also dealt with the following:

r Complaints received: 70.

r Licensed establishments where age compliance checks were conducted: 25.

r Establishments that sold alcohol to an underage buyer: 6.

r Violation letters issued: 13.

r Warning letters issued: 15.

The office enforces liquor laws and related provisions at more than 969 establishments licensed by the PLCB in Clinton, Lycoming and Potter counties as well as eight other counties.
