Alleged DUI
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an alleged DUI that occurred on Route 550 in Bellefonte on Dec. 31 at 3:08 p.m. Police stopped a 25-year-old white male from Pleasant Gap, whose name was withheld, for a traffic violation. He was taken for a blood draw, police said.
Alleged sexual assault
COBURN — State police at Rockview are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a unnamed juvenile male that occurred approximately five to six years ago in Penn Twp. Police said the suspect is known to them. The investigation continues, police said.
Marijuana possession
MILESBURG — A 23-year-old woman was found in possession of a large amount of marijuana and bulk U.S. currency on Interstate 80 West in Boggs Twp. on Jan. 1 at 8:57 a.m, state police at Rockview said.
Police said they conducted a traffic stop on a rental car operated by Myeshia Shampree Luster of New Jersey and found her to be in possession of 43 grams of marijuana and bulk U.S. currency. Police seized the drugs and money and charged Luster with intent to deliver, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Luster is awaiting arraignment at the Centre County Correctional Facility, police said.
Theft, bad checks
JERSEY SHORE — Valerie R. Kieffer, 41, of 50 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, has been charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional police with theft and bad checks.
Police said Kieffer allegedly used an unauthorized $17 Walmart money card at Lingle’s Family Market, 701 Allegheny St., on Oct. 22.
Theft of phone
JERSEY SHORE — Desarie M. Stroetzel, 19, of 339 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, has been charged with theft after allegedly stealing Monica Enright’s cellphone after she accidentally left it in a restroom at Dunkin Donuts, Linden, on Aug. 12, state police at Montoursville report.
