Disorderly conduct alleged in city
LOCK HAVEN — On Sunday, Jan. 21, police were dispatched to The Saloon at 309 N. Grove St. around 2 a.m., after a fight broke out, Lock Haven city police reported.
According to police, after an investigation was completed, Zachary McGinnis, 22, of 2137 Little Marsh Creek Rd., Howard, was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment.
Accident
LOCK HAVEN — On Friday, Jan. 19, an officer was dispatched to Nesbit Street near the intersection of West Water Street, where Zonda Gregory of Lock Haven had been attempting to drive through snow and ice into a parking spot, Lock Haven city police said.
Police said her rear fender hooked into the front bumper of a parked Subaru Forester belonging to Megan Muthler of Lock Haven. When Gregory pulled forward, it damaged the front of the Forester, police said.
Truck crash
BELLEFONTE — On Saturday, Jan. 20, a truck crash occurred at 12:30 a.m. on the Interstate 80 West Exit 161 off-ramp, state police at Rockview said.
Joseph Johnson, 22, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was negotiating a sharp curve in a 2016 Cascadia Freightliner on the exit ramp when the truck overturned onto its driver side. The truck traveled off the western portion of the exit ramp and across a grassy median, then entered the I-80 westbound on-ramp before the top of the truck impacted a guard rail off the northern shoulder of the on-ramp, said police.
Johnson was wearing a seatbelt and was not harmed but his passenger, Andrew Choate, 57, of Waldorf, Md. was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS for suspected minor injuries. Bellefonte Fire also assisted at the scene, police said.
Johnson was charged with driving a vehicle at a safe speed, police said.
