High-speed chase

and alleged DUI

AVIS — State police at Lamar engaged in a 104 mile-per-hour pursuit of a vehicle driven by Robert Klinger, 52, of Jersey Shore, who was allegedly driving under the influence, according to state police at Montoursville, who investigated the incident.

State police at Montoursville said, “Lamar Station Troopers activated their emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop on the accused vehicle. The accused refused to stop and a pursuit began” at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 8.

Trooper Brian Siebert with PSP Montoursville reported that the pursuit continued onto US 220 North reaching speeds of 104 miles-per-hour before the Klinger drove to the Pine Creek exit. Klinger then exited his vehicle and was taken into custody without any further incident, said police. Upon initial contact with Klinger, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, according to police at Montoursville.

Alleged drug possession

LOCK HAVEN — Kari A. Stump, 29, of 610 Bald Eagle St., was taken into custody and placed in jail, on Jan. 15 at about 9 a.m., for a drug offense on the 300 block of East Main Street, according to Lock Haven city police.

“Stump was wanted by probation. When she was found, she was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia,” said police.

Harassment

LOCK HAVEN — Devin S. Gower, 18, of 337 S. Chestnut St., Mill Hall, was given a citation for harassment after making threats to assault an unnamed victim at the 300 Block of East Church Street on Dec. 28, according to Lock Haven city police.
