Two hurt in accident

LOCK HAVEN — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident at 3:40 p.m. Feb. 11 on Route 120 at the intersection of Paul Mack Road.

City police said drivers were Diane Hoover, 58, of Avis and Bobbi Jo Lamey, 45, of Jersey Shore. Both drivers had unknown injuries, police said.

Police said Hoover was struck from behind by Lamey.

Retail theft

MILL HALL — Devon MacDonald, 28 of Mill Hall and Seth Miller, 30, of Avis, were charged with retail theft after they attempted to steal items from Weis Market, 6 Millbrook Plaza, Mill Hall.

State police at Lamar said the two were confronted by Weis Asset Protection employees and detained until police arrived. They were attempting to steal items valued at $11.06, police said.

Pickup hits tree

McELHATTAN — A pickup driven by Kevin Fullmer, 46, of Jersey Shore, struck a tree on Pine Mountain Road in Wayne Township at 6:26 a.m. Jan. 30, state police at Lamar report.

Police said it was snowing at the time and the roadway was snow-covered. The driver was not injured.

Retail theft

MILL HALL — Siani Ajee Morales, 19, was charged by state police at Lamar with retail theft after she placed items in her shopping cart at WalMart, 167 Hogan Boulevard, and passed the final point of sale with the items concealed in plastic bags in her cart. The incident occurred at 5:48 p.m. Feb. 8.

Slippery road

JERSEY SHORE — Evan Welshans, 18, of Loganton, suffered minor injuries when his pickup truck slid on the icy and snowy roadway on Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township at 10:38 a.m. Feb. 7, state police at Lamar reported.

The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned on its driver’s side, police said.

Police said the driver had suspected minor injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital.

Harassment charged

MILL HALL — A 55-year-old man from Julian was charged with harassment for allegedly calling a 37-year-old Mill Hall woman and a 43-year-old Mill Hall man while they were at work, leaving over 20 text messages.

The incident occurred at 22 Dinadan Drive in Bald Eagle Township at 12:23 a.m. on Feb. 3, police said.

Domestic violence

LOCK HAVEN — A 42-year-old Lock Haven man is charged with harassment after he became involved in a domestic dispute with two men — a 21-year-old and a 71-year-old — at 320 W. Walnut St., at 2:03 a.m. on Feb. 3, according to state police at Lamar.

Car hits utility pole

LAMAR — A car driven by Matthew Herritt, 35, of Lock Haven, struck a utility police on Route 64 in Porter Township at 5 p.m. Feb. 4, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said Herritt was northbound when he lost control and the car left the roadway, struck the pole and then rotated 90 degrees clockwise before coming to final rest facing eastbound.

Snowy road causes accident

LAMAR — George Seyler, 31, of Loganton, was the driver of a pickup truck that slid on Route 880 in Greene Township at 12:21 p.m. Feb. 4, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said the accident was caused by snow-covered roads and occurred when Seyler’s truck left the road and hit a fence post and utility pole. Neither Seyler or a passenger, Shawna L. Barner of Jersey Shore, were hurt, police said.

Cited for harassment

LOCK HAVEN — Five people were cited for harassment by Lock Haven City Police at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at 329 E. Main St.

Police said a verbal altercation over Facebook turned physical. Cited were Haley Y. Karichner, Bobbie Jo Shadle, Alex E. Pidgeon, Natasha Slota and Matthew Slota.

Open Container

LOCK HAVEN — Seth Zerby, 24, and Sandra Luciano, 23, both of Lock Haven, were cited for open container ordinance after officers witnessed them sharing a beer while walking on Bellefonte Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 11, city police said.
