Man accused of
operating meth lab
JERSEY SHORE — Alex Michael Bower, 25, of 94 Vilas Drive, Jersey Shore, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police with causing or risking a catastrophe, illegal possession of liquefied ammonia gas, and related offenses for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab at his Porter Township home on Jan. 2.
Initally jailed, Bower is now free on $150,000 bail.
Drug possession alleged
WILLIAMSPORT — Jacob Matthew Bell, 24, of Pleasant Gap, and Bryan H. Bacon, 35, of Williamsport, were charged by the Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office with possession of contraband for allegedly possessing a controlled substance without a prescription while inmates at the pre-release center on County Farm Road in Loyalsock Township on Jan. 30.
Bell had three pills of Hydrocodone while Bacon had 12 pills of the same drug, investigators allege. Both were jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail.
DUNNSTOWN – A 21-year-old woman will be charged with driving under the influence as a result of a vehicle accident on Coudersport Pike in Woodward Township, Clinton County, on Feb. 6.
Township police said Kaleigh Q. Miller of Cider Press Road will be sent a summons via the office of Magisterial District Judge Keith Kibler after her blood-alcohol content measured .16 following the accident in the 1700 block of Coudersport Pike.
