Rear-end crash

MILL HALL –There were no injuries in a rear-end crash on Eagle Valley Road at Country Club Lane at 6:28 p.m.. Feb. 21.

State police at Lamar said Laura A. Thorne, 39, of Bellefonte, struck the rear of a vehicle operated by James L. Lamey, 45, of Mackeyville, as Lamey was stopped for a vehicle in front of him.

Neither driver was hurt, police said.

Car hits tree, rolls over

BEECH CREEK — Stephanie Walizer, 24, of Lock Haven was negotiating a curve on Haagen Lane in Beech Creek Township when she lost control of her 2015 Mazda CXS and the car struck a tree and then overturned down an embankment, coming to rest on the driver’s side, according to state police at Lamar.

The operator of the car declined treatment at the scene, police said.

The accident occurred at 9:23 p.m. on Feb. 20.

DUI alleged

LOCK HAVEN — State police at Lamar stopped a 2015 Nissan Versa for a traffic violation and suspected the driver, Jennifer Shultz, 46, of Lock Haven, was driving under the influence.

The stop was made at 2:22 a.m. on Feb. 10 on Jarrett Avenue in Castanea Township.

Police said charges of DUI and related traffic offenses were filed through the office of District Judge Keith Kibler.

Avis tavern cited

AVIS — Oak Grove Tavern LLC, 206 E. Central Ave., Avis, has been cited for selling, furnishing or giving liquor or malt or brewed beverage to a minor.

The incident occurred on Dec. 6, 2017, according to state police at Montoursville’s Bureau of Liquor Enforcement.
