The caller asks for bank information online and then ‘takes over’ your computer, asking you to send them an email saying they can send your money straight to your bank account. From there, they will deposit too much money and send you to Walmart or Target to get gift cards. While you are gone, they will take large sums of money from your bank account. They’ll make you give them the gift card numbers and pins and tell you to shred the cards and that they’ll be calling you the next day to finish up the job.”
