Car hits guiderail
LOGANTON — Icy road conditions caused Brandi Mills, 32, of Lock Haven, to lose control of her car and strike a guiderail on Route 880 in Greene Township at 8:14 a.m. Feb. 2, state police at Lamar report.
Mills was not injured, police said.
MILL HALL — A Lock Haven woman has been charged with retail theft after she placed a six-pack of 5-Hour Energy Drink in her purse and attempted to leave the Weis Market at 6 Millbrook Plaza, state police at Lamar report.
The incident occurred at 12:50 p.m. on Jan. 30, police said.
The woman’s name was not listed on the press release.
LOCK HAVEN — Keinan T. Oxner, 20, of Philadelphia, has been charged with driving under the influence by state police at Lamar after he was pulled over for multiple traffic violations and found to be operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, state police at Lamar report.
Police said Oxner was pulled over in the 900 block of Bellefonte Avenue at 1:59 a.m. on Jan. 1.
A passenger in the vehicle, Jesse B. McPherson, 18, of Philadelphia, had also consumed alcohol and was cited for underage drinking, police said.
Car strikes tree
MILL HALL — Mary A. Miles, 46, of Lock Haven, suffered injuries of an unknown severity when her car slid on the snowy pavement and struck a tree, state police at Lamar report.
Police said the accident occurred at 8:26 a.m. on Jan. 30 on Route 220 in Bald Eagle township.
Miles was taken by friends to Lock Haven Hospital to obtain treatment of her injuries, police said.
FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar report a 28-year-old Mill Hall woman has been charged with harassment after she allegedly punched her boyfriend, a 30-year-old Avis man, in the mouth repeatedly.
The incident occurred on Canal Street in Flemington at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 31.
Dog law violation
MILL HALL — Victoria Baugher was cited by state police at Lamar after police said she allowed her dog outside to roam freely and the dog went onto the neighbor’s property and urinated on the porch of Michelle Tice on Pennsylvania Avenue.
The incident occurred on Jan. 30.
Charges have been filed at the office of District Judge John Maggs.
BEECH CREEK — Beckie Jo Butler, 42, of Beech Creek, has been charged with public drunkenness after state police at Lamar report Butler was seen stumbling along Eagle Valley Road in Beech Creek at about 1:06 a.m. on Feb. 1.
Police said charges will be filed in the office of District Judge John Maggs.
