Simple assault

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview are investigating a reported simple assault that occurred at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County.

Theft from Snappy’s

CENTRE HALL — Snappy’s market at 2892 Earlysstown Road, Potter Township, reported a theft to state police at Rockview.

The incident involved a known female and occurred between Dec. 13 and Dec. 19, 2017, police said.

Upon further investigation, police said the suspect was found to be stealing from Snappy’s.

Criminal trespass

MILLHEIM — State police at Rockview are looking for two men, one of whom got into a physical altercation with a 14-year-old Millheim boy when the teen saw them in his backyard.

Police said the incident occurred at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at a residence on West Main Street.

The teen noticed two men near a shed in his backyard, and when he confronted the suspects they took off on foot, police said. The teen got into a physical altercation with one of the suspects several blocks away, police said. There were no injuries, according to police.

The suspects are described as white males approximately 30 years old. One has brown hair and the other has brownish red hair. Both were wearing camouflage and old sneakers, police said.
