Hit and run

BELLEFONTE — On Sunday at 1:36 p.m., a vehicle struck the mirror of a car stopped alongside Interstate 80 in Boggs Township, state police at Rockview said.

Mark R. Fye, 34, of Snow Shoe, was parked to the right of the vehicle as he attempted to change a tire when a vehicle struck his driver’s side mirror, police said.

The vehicle continued down the interstate without stopping, police said.

Drug possession alleged

HOWARD — Charges are pending after a traffic stop on Sunday at 3:07 a.m., state police at Rockview said.

Two 18-year-olds from Philadelphia were found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 2300 block of North Eagle Valley Road, police said.

Vehicle damaged

HOWARD — State police at Rockview were called to investigate damage to a vehicle on Junction House Lane, Walker Township.

The 28-year-old male victim, of Howard, claimed that a 28-year-old woman, of Howard, caused damage to his vehicle on March 5 at 10 a.m., police said.

One-vehicle crash

SNOW SHOE — Scott I. Stallworth, 35, of Turtle Creek, was traveling west on Interstate 80 at 5:31 a.m. on Monday when his 2017 Nissan Altima crossed the left lane and traveled off the roadway, state police at Rockview said.

The vehicle continued into the median and striking a small tree before coming to an uncontrolled stop in the median, police said.

No injuries were reported and Stallworth was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

Two-vehicle accident

LOGANTON –No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday at 11:22 a.m. in Muncy Creek Township, state police at Montoursville said.

Kevin E. Brungard, 52, of Loganton, pulled out from the Fairfield Chrysler Dodge, Jeep, Ram parking lot in front of a 1995 Chevrolet 30 Van driven by Marty D. Griffith, 52, of West Nanticoke, police said.

The accident caused disabling damage to Brungard’s Dodge Challenger and Griffith’s van was able to be driven from the scene, police said.

No charges were filed.
