Aggravated assault

MILESBURG — A 38-year-old female has been accused of aggravated assault and committed to the Centre County Correctional Facility on $15,000 bail following a domestic violence incident on April 22 at 11:30 p.m. in which she struck a 39-year-old male victim in the head and face with a cast iron spoon and stabbed him in the arm with a kitchen knife, according to Rockview State Police. Police said that the victim was treated and released from the scene.

Runaway

returns home

MILLHEIM — A 17-year-old male ran away from his home on Penn Street in Millheim Borough on Sunday, April 22 at 3 a.m., but returned home unharmed during the investigation, state police at Rockview reported.

Criminal mischief

AARONSBURG — Police were dispatched to 153 S. Rachel’s Way to investigate a report of a window being smashed out of grading equipment at the Haines Twp. Building between April 20 and April 23, State Police at Rockview said.

Pipes stolen

SPRING MILLS — Police were dispatched to 100 block of Spring Mills to investigate a report of three pieces of metal culvert pipe that had been stolen from a gravel pull- off of Allison Road between April 22 and April 23, according to state police at Rockview. Anyone with information is asked to please contact PSP-Rockview.

Crash on I-80

BELLEFONTE — Andrew Jenkins III, 51, of Baltimore, was following a vehicle driven by John Yingling, 39, of Clearfield, who was forced to slow in order to merge for a construction zone on I-80 west, near mile marker 154, Rockview State Police said.

According to police, Jenkins did not slow in time, and struck the rear of Yingling’s vehicle before losing control, rolling onto its side and sliding for approximately 50 feet before stopping across both lanes of traffic. Police said there were no injuries, but I-80 west was closed for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared.

Bellefonte EMS, Eagle Towing and Recovery and Reese’s Towing assisted on the scene, police said.

Yard theft

LOCK HAVEN — Between April 8 and 22, a bird feeder was stolen from the yard of a 54-year-old male living on the 300 block of North Henderson Street, Lock Haven City Police said. The feeder is valued at $100, police said.

Criminal mischief

LOCK HAVEN — The owner of 131 Eden Lane reported that on April 25 someone had trespassed by driving through their property, causing large ruts and damage to the property’s grass field, reported Woodward Township police.
